JOHANNESBURG – There are concerns that 162,000 jobs in the South African automotive industry could be at stake.
It’s believed this is due to the RT-46 tender administered by Wesbank.
Experts in the industry allege the tender has excluded numerous black-owned workshops, from participating in contracts designated for the repair and maintenance of the government fleet.
Sello Mosai, Chairperson of the HDI Automotive Aftermarket Association Forum, discussed this with eNCA.
